ZX-1000 Smart TV Unit

ZX-1000 designed and developed by Zhaoxin, is the first SoC used in SARFT’s first generation TVOS smart TV products, supporting 4K x 2K UHD video decoding. ZX-1000 adopts ARM dual-core Cortex A9 architecture, integrated with our own home-grown GPU (Elite-1000) which has excellent graphics performance.

The ZX-1000 SoC supports up to 4K×2K@30fps video decoding and simultaneous decoding and encoding of 1080P@60fps video. With our lossless compression technology, more than 50% of memory bandwidth is saved for multimedia and graphics content.

Moreover, ZX-1000 supports the highest level of security features such as Secure Boot, Trust Zone and various encryption / decryption algorithms, where more than 30% of power consumption is saved as compared to competing SoC designs.

  • Application processing unit CPU

    Supports dual cortex-A9 cores and Neon co-processing unit with a working frequency of 1.5 GHz and above, low energy consumption and quick start is achieved through dynamic regulation of clock frequency and voltage support. Each core can be independently turned on or off as required; the dynamic turn-on and off of CPU core allows a saving of more than 30% power consumption compared to competing SoC’s.

  • Elite-1000’s built-in GPU with Leading Performance

    Elite-1000’s GPU core is completely developed and designed in house. The performance and power consumption for Elite-1000 GPU is leading edge comparing with competing SoC’s. The GPU can reach the performance of twelve to fifteen Mali400@600Mhz, and can support game console level of content and can support one 1080P UI interface. The proprietary memory compression provides more than 50% saving of memory bandwidth for graphics content, and about 70% for video content.
